Google Apps Now to Offer .CO Domains

We are happy to announce that Google Apps now offers .CO as a top-level domain option, in addition to the legacy extensions .com, .net and .org – and a growing number of country code domains.  Now, businesses that wish to sign up for Google Apps, but don’t yet have a domain name registered, can choose to build their online presence on a .CO domain name.

Google Apps is a suite of hosted Google applications that brings together essential services to help business build a powerful online presence.  Domain names registered through Google Apps will come configured with all Google Apps services, including Gmail for custom email addresses, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Calendar and Google Talk, among other things – all hosted on your company’s unique domain (e.g., www.yourcompany.co).

If you want to use Google Apps, but you don't have a .CO domain name just yet, you can purchase your .CO as part of the sign-up process.  Just go to http://www.google.com/a and click the "Start Free Trial" button.  You can also use Google Apps with a .CO domain name that you already own. Just sign up with your existing url - and follow the simple instructions to verify that you own the domain name.
