".CO Domain Name is .Coming" - Domain Name Wire

The past few weeks have been very busy at .CO Internet. We successfully completed the transfer of the domain from the legacy administrator to .CO Internet and are preparing for the implementation of our launch plan which begins with a global Sunrise for global trademark holders from April 23rd through June 10th and is followed by Landrush for anyone interested in domains of high commercial value from June 21st through July 10th.General availability will begin on July 20th. As we prepare for launch we’ve been attending many domain industry events to communicate about .CO and have made new friends and met great partners along the ways.

Earlier today, Domain Name Wire published a post titled, “.CO Domain Name is .Coming.” We’re very excited about the launch given the need for consumers and businesses to have more choice in branding themselves online with a short and memorable domain. .CO is the new domain extension that offers people and companies more choice in branding their online presence with a truly global, recognizable, and credible domain name – and communicating this effectively throughout the industry is critically important to us.
