This morning, Go Daddy announced that its 2012 Super Bowl Commercial Plans will, once again, feature .CO – “the fastest growing new Web address.” You can read the full release here: http://x.co/GoCo2.
Last year, Go Daddy shocked the world by revealing iconic comedienne Joan Rivers as the new GoDaddy.CO Girl. That commercial triggered a record-breaking surge in Internet traffic and boost in .CO domain name registrations within minutes of airing.
After last year's incredible results, we couldn’t be more excited about being featured in our second consecutive Super Bowl broadcast. The .COmmercial is being produced this week in Scottsdale and Los Angeles, and will, once again, feature Go Daddy Girls Danica Patrick and Jillian Michaels.
Renowned for ruffling the feathers of TV network censors, we’re happy (and relieved!) to report that NBC’s censors have already approved the GoDaddy .CO ad. This said, our sources have assured us that the ad will be as fun, edgy and (of course) inappropriate as ever before – with an extra racy Internet-Only version.
With an audience of an estimated 110 million football enthusiasts – plus another 10 – 20 million viewers tuning in just to watch the commercials – we are confident that our second Super Bowl spot will help .CO to gain massive consumer awareness in 2012.
With all the exciting things we have planned for the year ahead (and believe me, there are many!), the Go Daddy .CO Super Bowl Ad is simply the perfect way to "kick things off"...
