I wanted to share a few thoughts about .CO and explain why I’m so excited about bringing .CO to market.

As an entrepreneur I’ve spent countless hours looking for the right domain name for a given project and like many of us, have resorted to long names, odd spellings and using punctuation to make a name work as a URL. I believe that .CO is such a unique opportunity for many reasons - here are just two.  First, .CO is a wide open namespace that gives individuals and companies the chance to find short, meaningful domain names. And second, our research demonstrated that .CO instinctively means "company" to most people, but isn’t limited to only that meaning. This flexibility differentiates .CO from other TLDs that are more niche or geo focused.  

To me, the letters "C" and "O" together are pretty poetic.  The essence of "CO" alludes to things you do in tandem with at least one other person.  COmmunicate,  COllaborate, COnnect - all the things that make being a part of the global online COmmunity such a rich and rewarding experience!

.CO is truly a global, recognizable, and credible domain name – and one that I believe provides great opportunity for anyone looking to brand themselves online.

Actually, if there is one single word that gets this entire team all fired up, it would have to be "Opportunity"!  We're living in an age of infinite possibility - where the limits of what can be achieved have been stretched beyond what anyone really could have imagined just 25 years ago.  

We like to think of .CO as the online space where possibility and opportunity .COnverge. …Finally, there's a wide open name space where you can get the domain name you really (truly!) want to build your business or brand online -- without having to settle for just "what's available" (-- you know, everyone else's leftovers!)  

Whatever your mind can dream up, whatever big idea you hope to bring to life, whatever aspiration or goal you hope to fulfill online -- we've got the perfect name for that!
