| Corporate VP & ccTLD Manager

Why are you excited about .CO?
I am Colombian and I really feel we are making part of the history on Internet in Colombia.  This is a remarkable opportunity to participate in the global and local Internet governance.  We have a very nice, qualified and integrated team to make me proud to be part of it.  I love my work, I feel as I can give a lot form my side to accomplish our goals.

What was your Internet "wow" moment?
When we were awarded by MINTIC and the first time I had access to real bandwidth!

What would you be doing if you weren't working at .CO Internet?
Working as a consultant in communication and services sector perhaps or working as a consultant to other ccTLDs.

Besides email, how do you spend the majority of your time online?
Reading documents about Internet and particularly about the domain name system, following the steps of some organizations as LACTLD and ICANN.

If you didn't work at .CO, what would one .CO website be that you would want to launch?
An Informative site about the .CO operational model and policies that is transactional and would easily allow the registration process to registrants.  It would have at least one section where the community can express their feelings about the service and policy and it would be linked to many of the regional and global related organizations

As a founding member of ICANN’s ccNSO, I feel like a proud parent every time I think about how the organization has “grown up” right before my eyes. The Country Code names Supporting Organization, or ccNSO, was created by ccTLD managers in 2003.
