Today, .CO domain registrations reached over 400,000!  This is just 18 days after the official launch on July 20, 2010.  I dare to say that this is the most successful launch of a domain extension in recent history!  With registrations in over 182 countries around the world, the online community is clearly showing .CO favor.   Some of the top countries are the USA, Colombia, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Germany, India, China, New Zealand and France.  And don’t forget our “Flying Pig” program to get our mascot for registering your .CO.  With all the excitement, buzz and hoopla – don’t get left behind:  Pigs have been flying EVERYWHERE.  We’re 400,000 – but continuing to grow rapidly. 

Preceding today’s 400,000th domain, was the confirmation that .CO is now able to be geo-targeted within the Google Webmaster Tools.  I posted a blog on July 23rd about .CO being “Google-National” and received follow-up that the developers at Google have now gone ahead and made the feature live.  This great video from DomainerIncome shows how to geo-target your new .CO domains.
